Natural Balance® Beef Knuckle (AKA Front Shank) Bones. These consist of two bone sections - the humerus with attached radius and ulna - averaging 9 lbs. Excellent knuckles on the ends of the bones, but not alot of meat on these bones. Animals enjoy gnawing on these bones. Our bones are not for retail sale, they are for wildlife facilities only.

Supplied in waterproof cartons; packed loose in a case containing four sections or 8 large bones.

Knuckle Bones Cut Natural Balance® Beef Knuckle Bones are fresh-frozen, USDA INSPECTED from edible-meat processing plants.

Recommended as a periodic substitute for soft diets.

Provides additional enjoyment, psychological enhancement and affords EXERCISE OF THE MOUTH AND JAW STRUCTURES.

Suggested feeding: It is recommended that animals on a soft diet be fed bones one to two times a week.

FRESH FROZEN. Packaged loose in a case containing four sections or 8 large bones, approximately 35 lbs. per case.

STORAGE AND HANDLING

Proper storage, handling and preparation methods are imperative for raw meat-based diets. This carnivore diet must be stored at freezer temperatures until needed at 0ºF and below, then thawed under refrigeration. Do not thaw at room temperature. Thawed meat should not be refrozen.
