Dick Van Patten's Natural Balance® Canned Dog Formulas are complete and balanced diet for your dog, yet also perfect as a delicious addition to our Dry Dog Food.

For growing puppies, any of our Canned Formulas can be mixed with Natural Balance® Original Ultra™ Ultra Premium Dry or any of our Natural Balance® Limited Ingredient Diets™ Allergy Formulas; a mixture that could ease the weaning process and stimulate appetite during this stressful time. For lactating females, a gradual increase in food intake is necessary starting around week 8 or 9 of pregnancy. Adding Natural Balance® Canned Dog Food satisfies the increased caloric requirement. Also great for picky-eaters and can help kindle the appetite of the older dog.

Natural Balance® Limited Ingredient Diets™ Canned Formulas are proven formulas for dogs with allergies based on our unique blend of a premium protein and carbohydrate not commonly found in dog foods. No grains such as wheat, barley, rice, or corn.

Natural Balance® Ultra-Premium Canned Dog Food is a complete and balanced premium dog food which contains a superior mixture of animal and grain products. FEEDING MANAGEMENT

• Puppies, Pregnant and Nursing Females, require 2 to 3 times the adult amounts.
• A reduction in food intake is recommended for less active and Older Dogs.
• Serve at room temperature.
• Any unused portion should be covered and refrigerated.
• Fresh water should be available at all times.

I just wanted to let you know that my 9 year old wheaten terrier has severe food allergies. I have a 4 year old female Bichon Frise who has had to live her life walking a thin line between health and illness. She has celiac disease, pancreatitis, colitis and gastritis (to name but a few) and has suffered since 8 weeks of age from almost constant diarrhea and/or vomiting. We have tried (vet supervised) every kind of food out there - "prescription" diets that are supposed to be formulated for her "conditions", premium dog foods, organic dog foods, grain-free dog foods and even chain store brands of dog food only to have our dog become ill (and, more than once, hospitalized) after consuming even just a spoonful of these foods. We were left with making her food ourselves which, as you can imagine, is time consuming and frustrating. Because she has food allergies as well as her other GI conditions, she has been eating a diet of boiled rice and chicken with dietary supplements. I am constantly researching and testing new foods but never with any luck. I had all but given up when, as a lets-give-it-one-last-try, I discovered Natural Balance Canned Chicken Formula. It was one of the few chicken formulas out there that did not contain turkey as well (our dog is allergic to turkey) and it did not contain wheat! I took home a can and gave our dog a spoonful in her regular dinner.....she loved it and it did not upset her GI system! My miniature poodle Snickers, has over the past year had the runny eyes, itching, etc and after going thru several options trying to figure out what was going on I had him tested for allergies. Now that I know what is causing his discomfort, I was recommended by my vet to try a dog food that was allergy friendly for Snickers. There were many products on the market that were allergy friendly when I went to Petco but your product was highly recommended by not only the staff at Petco but other customers. Snickers is a real picky eater but, I bought several cans of Natural Balance® Canned Dog Food, including Duck & Potato, Venison, Lamb, and Beef Formula. To my surprise, Snickers loves it. My wife, sons, and I are privileged to have as part of our family, two beautiful red and tan Dobermans, Copper and Penny. They are second cousins and come from a line which has produced several AKC champions in the past two generations. During the past three years, several different brands of food have been recommended to us. We initially chose Iams and fed them a mix of dry and wet food twice a day. While feeding them this diet, we were told that Copper had very dry skin and at times was slightly under weight. Penny's skin was fine but her coat always seemed to be very coarse. I recently began do some on-line research on pet food ingredients and nutritional quality. It was quickly apparent that Natural Balance was far superior to all other brands we were feeding. We now feed Copper and Penny, Natural Balance® Ultra Premium Dry Dog Food and add one can of the various Natural Balance® Ultra-Premium Canned Dog Food. We have noticed that Copper no longer has any skin flaking and Penny's coat has become noticeably softer and fuller. Our groomer recently commented that she hasn't seen any dogs with the coat quality of these two in a very long time. Copper recently weighed in at a very healthy 78 pounds during his annual physical. Our veterinarian said, Copper was in "peak physical condition." While Natural Balance is a few cents more per can, we now feed both dogs less than we did when feeding them other brands yet both are at perfect weights for their age, sex and breed. A side by side look at the contents of the different canned dog food brands is all it really takes to convince one that Natural Balance is the far superior food. We feel that feeding our companions your foods will give us that much more time to enjoy them as they lead happy and healthy lives.

These dogs love Natural Balance. Three miniature Dachshunds Natural Balance® Ultra Premium Dog Food. Who would have thought? Tag the smaller cream colored one is one of the pickiest dogs I have ever owned. These dogs love all the different varieties the same. When we feed them the can food they cannot stop jumping and making noises, they get very excited when it is just can food. We mix the dry and can sometimes and Raz eats the dry first, Tag eats the can first and Sam, well he just digs in. Sam has allergies and the food has helped immensely. Tag and Sam have both had knee and back problems. We believe that the food has helped with their weight and muscle tone. Tag had two discs removed which slowed him down some but now he is back to his same old self. We walk the dogs as much as possible and people stop and talk about there shiny coats and clear eyes.
