The
Adult Cat Adult cats should be fed either once or
twice per day. When you first start feeding Natural
Balance® dry cat food, we suggest to start with
the amounts recommended in the Table. Energy requirements
vary with environmental conditions, temperature and
activity of your cat. The amount of food should always
be adjusted to suit your cat’s needs. If you would
like to provide a special treat for your cat, you can
add small amounts of Natural Balance® Canned Cat
Food.
The
Older Cat As your cat begins to age, his energy
expenditure will decrease. Decreasing the amount of
food accordingly will allow for the maintenance of proper
body weight for less active cat. Older cats are sometimes
more reluctant to eat hard foods. Adding larger amounts
of Natural Balance® Canned Cat Food will make the
most "finicky" eater enjoy their daily meals. |

just wanted to drop you a line and say thanks for making
such a great pet food. I have been feeding my kitty the Natural Balance® Reduced
Calorie Cat Dry Formula for some time now (after
carefully researching quality brands) and I am very impressed.
Not only does she love it, but she is incredibly healthy.
A while back, I was in a pinch and picked up another "premium"
brand (I won't mention the name) and she packed on the
pounds after just one bag of it. I made sure to get some
Natural Balance and she was so eager that she actually
ripped open the bag! The fat dropped and she is slim and
as healthy as ever. I have actually been told that my
cat is the healthiest looking one they have ever seen.
I tell every cat owner I meet about your wonderful product.
It isn't even that easy for me to get! I mean, I could
get Iams at the grocery store, but we all know that is
bad news! Doesn't matter, I make the trek to Pet Valu.
I also find it very reasonably priced, especially given
that my little girl (only about 7 lbs) takes about 2 months
to go through a bag. I know that this is because of the
quality of your product -- she does not need to eat as
much of it, which also helps to keep her slim. I have

just have to say that I'm thrilled to have found Natural
Balance brand foods. I have 4 cats who eat the Natural
Balance® Reduced Calorie Cat Formula and get all flavors of the 3oz. cans as treats. They all
have beautiful coats and are all at a perfect weight.
When we adopted our first dog, I immediately knew to start
her on Natural Balance. We adopted a recing greyhound
who had been on the track for a long time. When we got
her, she was shedding, flakey, and smelled. 7 months later,
her coat is soft and shiny, she very rarely sheds, and
her flakes are getting to be less and less. We soon adopted
another greyhound and they both now go crazy for a mixture
of Ultra Premium, Sweet Potato and Fish, and the Organic
formulas. Their favorite treats are the Bison, Pearled
Barley, and Blueberry biscuits and they've recently been
introduced to the wonderful food rolls. We're big fans
of Natural Balance and I just wanted to say thank you
for such great products. -

I had
to write in to tell you how pleased I am with your Natural
Balance® Reduced Calorie Cat Dry
Formula for cats. I have the pleasure of being
owned by 5 cats. Gidget is almost 16 and I have had
her since she was a baby, as I had her Mama, and
the other 4 are 3 year old siblings, Curly Tail,
Napoleon, Cleo and Molly. I rescued them from the pound
when they were 8 weeks old. Gidget has suffered from arthritis
and was slightly overweight for the past year or
so and since being on your food she seems to have dropped
a little weight and she can now jump up into her favorite
chair to sleep. She hadn't been able to do that in a while.
As for the babies, no matter what I did they were getting
fatter and fatter, especially Curly Tail who was almost
15 pounds! I was feeding them what I thought was a high
quality food 3 times a day because they seemed to
be ALWAYS hungry. Every time I got up and went into
the kitchen, they screamed for food. They even woke
me up at 7 am just to get fed, so exhausting! I asked
my Vet and his suggestion was Science Diet but he
said that cats don't like it, so what next? I decided
to stop at Petco to see what they had to offer and one
of the Managers sent over their 'expert'. She recommended
your Low Calorie food and said she absolutely loves it.
Well I share her enthusiasm, IT'S GREAT!! Their fur is
softer and they don't shed so much, AND they don't EAT
as much. They even stopped waking me up in the morning
to get fed. What a relief that is! Thank you soooo much.
