The
Adult Cat Adult cats should be fed either once or
twice per day. When you first start feeding Dick Van
Patten's Natural Balance® L.I.D. Limited Ingredient
Diets® Green Pea & Duck Dry Cat Food, we suggest
to start with the amounts recommended in the Table.
Energy requirements vary with environmental conditions,
temperature and activity of your cat. The amount of
food should always be adjusted to suit your cats
needs. If you would like to provide a special treat
for your cat, you can add small amounts of Dick Van
Patten's Natural Balance® L.I.D. Limited Ingredient
Diets® Duck & Green
Pea Canned Cat Food.
Gestating
and lactating Queens will consume more, usually
1/2 to 2 cups daily.
The
Older Cat As your cat begins to age, his energy
expenditure will decrease. Decreasing the amount of
food accordingly will allow for the maintenance of proper
body weight for less active cat. Older cats are sometimes
more reluctant to eat hard foods. Adding larger amounts
of Natural Balance® L.I.D. Limited Ingredient Diets® Duck & Green
Pea Canned Cat Food will make the most "finicky"
eater enjoy their daily meals |

| I adopted a sick little kitten in the fall of 2008. When
we got her she was bloated, gassy and had loose stools. After lots of money
spent on anti-biotics, de-wormers and probiotic supplements, we decided to
try a new food.
My veterinarian suggested the Natural Balance® Green Pea and Duck Cat food for Minnie.
She felt it was better than the prescription food sold in her office. After
just two weeks on her new diet, Minnie was visibly less bloated and her
digestive issues cleared up completely. She loves the food and we had no
problems switching our older cat on to it as well.
Thanks so much for making a food that is healthy and that allows my little
baby to not cause a stink.
I would like to suggest adding cat treats to the Duck and Green Pea line. I
give treats to my older cat in secret and would love to give Minnie a
special treat as well. Lisa, PA |
I
can't thank your company ENOUGH for literally SAVING
my cat's life! My 14 year old has had horrible IBS and
vomiting for over 6 months. NOT ONE VET, prescription
or prescription diet has been able to calm his issue.
He was dying!! I have used the Dick Van Patten's
Natural Balance® L.I.D. Limited
Ingredient Diets™ Green Pea and Duck Formula for a week and not ONE issue!!! I CAN'T THANK YOUR COMPANY
ENOUGH FOR SAVING HIS LIFE!! He's slowly gaining his
weight back. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! THANK YOU THANK YOU
THANK YOU! Kelly,

| I
have been feeding my dogs your food for two years now
and they have done very well on it. My cats like your
food too, and I especially want to thank you for developing
the allergy Dick Van Patten's Natural Balance® L.I.D. Limited Ingredient Diets™
Green Pea and Duck Formula for cats. My older
female cat Olive was losing weight and throwing up after
developing an allergy to something in the regular cat
food. She hasn't been sick since she went on the duck
and pea formula and she has not lost any more weight.
So thank you because I was worried about her and now she
is doing well. Sarah

| Hi
Natural Balance, I'm a fan of your company and your products,
and I wanted to tell you why. Three years ago, I rescued
a beautiful Ragdoll cat from the local humane society.
On his first vet check, I found out he had FIV. What followed
was months of visits to the vet for sniffles, itches,
infections, and more. Among other things, he had a condition
called eosinophilic plaque syndrome, that caused sores
on his lips and chin. Normally, it's treated with steroids,
but we didn't have that option because of the FIV. I was
about to make an appointment with a dermatologist, when
someone suggested Natural Balance Venison and Pea. Within
a week, the sores were gone. Two years went by with no
vet visits for anything other than a rabies shot. Looking
at pictures from then and now, it's like I have a different
cat - a healthy, shiny-coated, happy one. Then I heard
the news that my cat's food was recalled. That's when
I realized that it's not whether a problem occurs - because
it's often unavoidable - it's how a company deals with
the problem that matters. I was so impressed with how
Natural Balance Inc handled the recall that I was recommending
your food to friends and family even in the middle of
it. Having all the information on your website quickly
was valuable for me, because there were so many rumors
going around at the time. I checked your website, discovered
the new Dick Van Patten's Natural Balance® L.I.D. Limited Ingredient Diets™
Green Pea and Duck Formula, and switched him
over. Oliver is over six years old now, and I know that
because of the FIV, he has less time left than he should.
But thanks to your allergy formula cat food, I've been
able to give him a better quality of life, and save a
lot of money in vet bills. I want to thank you also for
setting up the Club NB - I appreciate knowing that if
anything goes wrong, I'll know about it immediately. We
have a rescued borzoi who is in great health and on a
Natural Balance diet as well. I just wanted your company
to know that you've made a difference in our lives. Kirsten

| Just
wanted to say how impressed I am with the Dick
Van Patten's Natural Balance® L.I.D.
Limited Ingredient Diets@ Green Pea and Duck Formula for cats! My two male cats (ages 3 and 16) had both been
having chronic stomach problems, and we'd switched them
from food to food -- Science Diet, Royal Canin, etc. Both
were regurgitating partially undigested food. The sixteen-year-old
was starting to vomit every other day and losing weight.
So we switched them to Natural Balance Green Pea and Duck
formula dry food. They're both happy with it, and it appears
to have ended their stomach issues. Thank you for making
our home vomit-free! And I would swear their coats are
getting shinier by the day! My only suggestion is that
it might be useful to print hypo-allergenic or allergen-free
in large print on the bag. At first, I was unsure what
"limited ingredients diet" meant. I'll be sure
to tell my sister about it - she's a veterinarian and
typically recommends Science Diet prescription formulas.
It now appears that my cats are both allergic to all those
nasty "filler" ingredients that even the pricier
brands contain. - Jackie, Los Angeles, CA |
| My
cat was diagnosed with allergic bronchitis and the vet
suggested I feed her grain-free dry food. I tried a number
of brands which were met with indifference. That changed
when I brought home Dick Van Patten's Natural
Balance® L.I.D. Limited Ingredient
Diets™ Green Pea and Duck Formula, which
was the recommendation of the manager at my local Petco.
I didn't have to introduce it gradually; Glory went right
to the bowl and that has been her food of choice ever
since. Even my other cat Easter Egg, who doesn't particularly
care for dry food, has no problem eating the grain-free
Natural Balance. I thought you'd like to hear from more
two- and four-legged satisfied customers. Regards,
Alison Jacobs |
